Vihko on a5 kokoinen, 3mm bleedeillä ja 5mm marginaaleilla. Kuva on piirretty 1. tasolle photoshop:issa, käyttämällä brush tool:ia ja kolmea erilaista sivellintä. Lisäsin uuden tason, jolle piirsin siveltimellä harmaan taustan ja vaalean häivytyksen keskelle päin.

The notebook is size a5 with 3mm bleeds and 5mm margins. The picture is drawn in photoshop on a layer 1 using the brush tool and three different brushes. I added layer 2 and I drew the grey background that blends into white to the middle.
Tulostin työt 300g SRA3 paperille, jonka leikkasin käyttäen a5 kokoon käyttäen leikkuukonetta. Tämän jälkeen valitaan minkä kokoinen kierre halutaan ja tätä miettien valitaan vihkoon sopiva määrä sivuja. Sitten kansiin ja sopivaan määrään sivuja painetaan reiät. On tärkeää painaa kaikki sivut niin päin, kun ne kasataan lopuksi. Sitten on aika laittaa vihkoon kierteet kiinni. Tämä tapahtui sille tarkoitetulla koneella. Kaikki asetukset on oltava määriteltynä kierteen kokoon. Vielä viimeiseksi leikataan kierteestä ylimääräinen pala pois ja vihko on valmis!

I printed out the work on 300g SRA3 paper, that I cut to a5 size using a hydraulic paper cutting machine. After this you choose what size spiral you want and according to that you choose the amount of paper. Then you cut wholes to the covers and to the right amount of paper using a machine made for that. It’s very important to cut the wholes the way you’re gonna place the papers. Then you place the spiral. In this step it’s important that all the settings in the machine are set to the size of the spiral. Then there’s only left one thing, cutting out the rest of the spiral and your notebook is ready!
